Founded in 2018, Access Import began as the sole authorized importer of Apple products to Egypt. What started as a focused partnership rapidly evolved into a comprehensive import and distribution powerhouse serving the entire MENA region.

Apple Partnership Begins

Became the sole authorized importer of Apple products to Egypt — iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and accessories.

Access Import Founded

Officially established as an import and distribution company headquartered in New Cairo's Trivium Mall.

Chief Executive Officer

With over 25 years of pioneering leadership across Egypt and the UAE in IT, consumer electronics, and telecom, Ashraf Elmaalem brings a record-breaking track record to Access Import. From driving 300% growth as General Manager at Sadko Group (Ghabbour) to building VirgiTech into one of Egypt's largest distributors, he later joined ABM — Apple's sole distributor in the Middle East — as Country Manager before founding Access Import.

An MBA graduate from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport with a Business Diploma from the American University in Cairo, Ashraf's expertise in distributor management, strategic partnerships, and channel sales has been the driving force behind Access Import's rise as Egypt's premier technology import and distribution company.
